Yep, this mashup of “Black Skinhead” with “Elephant” is pretty great, too

    We recently rediscovered the glory of mashups when Kanye West’s “Black Skinhead” met its soul mate in Depeche Mode’s “Personal Jesus”. Now, D.C.-based producer Nate Belasco has introduced the Yeezus cut to its new mistress, Tame Impala’Lonerism highlight “Elephant”.

    While “Personal Yeezus” made almost instant eureka-moment sense, the idea of a “Black Elephant” (“Elephant Skinhead”? We’ll get back to ya on this…) might leave you scratching your trunk at first. But the two tracks share remarkably similar drives led by fuzzed out guitars and off-beat rhythms, making their pairing nearly just as blissful. Check it out below.
