Today in Kanye West news, he wants a new logo, and he’s so super serial about it, he’s enlisted the talents of renowned graphic designer Peter Saville.

Saville is perhaps best known as the one-time art director of Factory Records, who created album artwork for Joy Division, and later New Order. Specifically, he’s the guy behind the now-iconic pieces that wrap Joy Division’s Unknown Pleasures and New Order’s Power, Corruption & Lies, among other albums.

Saville confirmed his collaboration with Kanye during the Global Design Forum in London Monday night (via Dezeen). He explained, “We’re looking at ways of writing ‘Kanye West. What does ‘Kanye’ and ‘Kanye West’ look like written down?” Kanye has apparently asked for a design on the same level as Adolphe Mouron Cassandre’s logo for Yves Saint Laurent, telling Saville: ‘You’re Cassandre.”
