Good news, wallet: Kurt Vile has announced plans to expand this year’s Top Star-earning Wakin on a Pretty Daze with an EP of seven outtakes titled It’s a big world out there (and I am scared). Due out November 19th on Matador, the EP will be available as a separate 12″ vinyl or function as the bonus content for a deluxe edition of Wakin, aptly dubbed the Deluxe Daze (Post Haze).
In related news, the Philadelphia singer-songwriter has uploaded the mixtape he shared with his producer and bandmates prior to working on the new LP. Fans of Tom Petty, Gary Numan, The Byrds, David Byrne, David Bowie, the Rolling Stones, Prince, Pink Floyd and many more shall rejoice. Stream below, shortly followed by the EP’s tracklist.
