FUZZ, the other other side project of Bay Area garage rocker Ty Segall, return today with “What’s In My Head”, the second single off their forthcoming self-titled debut, due out October 1st via In The Red. While lead single “Loose Sutures” defined their Black-Sabbath-meets-psych-punk sound, today’s offering takes the bombast up a notch, with guitars that shred like a chain gun and drums that explode like mortar shells. Meanwhile, Segall and Co. manage to harmonize like a slacker-version Beach Boys, adding a sheen of genuine intimacy to the deafening torrent. Take a listen below.
