Turns out last week’s Fiona Apple hecklefest wasn’t a complete bummer. Even with a disruptive audience hurling negative comments about her health, Apple managed to pull out a handful of new songs that night: the commanding, piano-led “I Want You To Love Me” and this newly surfaced number, a collaboration with tour mate Blake Mills that’s apparently titled “Tipple”. Backed by a gentle strum, both their voices — each built of such different textures — make for a compelling mix. Listen to a live recording below (via Teco Apple).
