Earlier this year, Brooklyn outfit Widowspeak released Almanac, a sophomore album full of lush, Fleetwood Mac-leaning indie-pop. Now, the duo take their dreamy palettes to the hot and humid Louisiana wetlands on their latest track “Calico”. Off their forthcoming EP, The Swamps, the cut’s shiny, twang-filled melodies are swathed in a thick and muggy fuzz, eventually taking on a whole new hazy luster. Dig in below.
