Sky Ferreira will miss this week’s tour dates opening for Vampire Weekend. According to the pop singer, it has nothing to do with her recent arrest and ensuing legal drama. Rather, as she explained on Facebook, an illness is affecting her vocal chords and she needs “several days of total vocal rest.” It’s unclear when Ferreira will rejoin the tour, which runs through October 10th. Afterward, Ferreira is set to embark on a headlining tour in November.
Ferreira’s debut LP, Night Time, My Time, arrives October 29th via Capitol.
