New York producer Drew Lustman, a.k.a. FaltyDL, showed versatility on his genre-hopping Ninja Tune debut, last year’s Hardcourage. Now, he’s back with another single for the label, “Danger”, due out on January 20th. Our first glimpse of the release comes in the form of B-side “King Brute”, featuring Shanghai Den. Not necessarily as blatantly ferocious as its title might imply, the track builds up its own sense of urgency with tricked out electronic bits, titillating and prickly pieces that pop as much as they poke in your ears.
