Keith Morris’ punk supergroup OFF! will release their sophomore album, Wasted Years, on April 8th via Vice Records. Our first taste of the 16-track album’s “thematic darkness” comes with the pleasantly-titled opener, “Void You Out”. Though their output’s always distilled hardcore to its very essence, they’ve managed to fill the spaces with even more angst and outrage, growing angrier and scarier with time. In an interview with Rolling Stone, Morris said the song was about “misleading historical revisionism,” adding, “Who was here first? A bunch of uptight, always-right Caucasians with their heads buried up each other’s asses, trying to tell the rest of us how North American history went down and is going to be changed because of their intelligence or lack thereof. Thus: ‘Void You Out!'”
