Owls announce first album in 13 years, Two, stream “I’m Surprised…”

    Cap’n Jazz alums Mike Kinsella, Tim Kinsella, Victor Villarreal, and Sam Zurick quietly revived their Owls project in 2012 and have just announced details for their first new album in over a decade. The Chicago-based band will release the appropriately-titled Two on March 25th via Polyvinyl Records. They’ve also premiered lead single “I’m Surprised…”, which features interlocking guitars and Tim Kinsella’s slightly-off vocals. It’s a seamless return to the form their 2001 self-titled debut.
