Fiona Apple to star in French TV show about superheroes

Here’s something I never thought I’d write: Fiona Apple is set to star in a French television show about superheroes.

As Teco Apple points out, Apple has a role in an upcoming episode of H-Man, a new television series by Joseph Cahill. Cahill helmed Apple’s video for “Every Single Night”, so there’s the connection.

Apparently, Apple plays an activist named BioFrau, who is held hostage at a nuclear power plant in Germany. I’m guessing the guy named H-Man comes to the rescue, but we won’t know for sure until the series premieres in March.

According to Cahill, the show is “a series of delusions influenced by many American blockbusters.” Watch the teaser trailer below.
