18-year-old Chlöe Howl’s been making waves across the pond for nearly a year now, her buzz built on the strength of cheeky electro-pop numbers like “Rumour” and “How Proud”. Next month, Howl — who was included on BBC’s Sound of 2014 longlist — will not only touch down on American soil to play this year’s South By Southwest, but also finally release her Rumour EP stateside via Columbia.
If the two aforementioned tracks weren’t enough to reel you in, take a listen to another EP cut entitled “Girls and Boys”. With just the right amount of chic and attitude (and polished songwriting chops don’t hurt either), she seems ready to host dance parties here, the UK, and beyond. Take a listen below (via Stereogum).
Chlöe Howl is currently prepping her debut album, due out sometime this summer.
