Tiny Ruins is the folk-pop project of New Zealand native Hollie Fullbrook. On May 5th, she’ll release her second full-length and Bella Union debut, Brightly Painted One. Promising to fall “between dream pop and folk-blues”, the album was recorded over several months with engineer Tom Healy in Auckland.

“Me At The Museum, You In The Wintergardens” is the first taste of the LP and finds Fullbrook joined by Cass Basil and drummer Alexander Freer. Though paced by lightly fingerpicked acoustic guitars, brushed percussions, and understated upright bass, the song’s real strength comes from Fullbrook’s wistfully soothing voice and yearning lyrics.
