Over the last two years, Montreal producer Jacques Greene has worked with the likes of Radiohead, The xx, How To Dress Well, and Autre Ne Veut. Now, he’s gearing up to release his new solo EP, Phantom Vibrate, on April 28th via LuckyMe Records.

Our first glimpse at this three-track effort comes in the form of EP opener, “No Excuse”. A jaunty whirlwind of snaking vocal samples and thwacking percussion, it’s at times both coaxing and dynamic, a soothing remedy and a heated thriller. Check it out below.
