Great Scotts, they’ve done it again! CHVRCHES appeared on BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge on Tuesday morning, where they unveiled a synthtastic cover of Lorde’s latest chart-topping single, “Team”. Watch a replay of their full session below (the “Team” cover kicks in at the 3:44 mark).
It’s the latest in a string of stunning cover songs from the Glasgow outfit. Previously, we’ve heard them tackle Arctic Monkeys’ “Do I Wanna Know?”, HAIM’s “Falling”, Bauhaus’ Bela Lugosi’s Dead”, Janelle Monae’s “Tightrope”, and Whitney Houston’s “It’s Not Right But It’s Okay”. Their own catalog ain’t half bad either.
