In the years since the release of her last album, 2010’s We Are Born, Sia has put her singing career on the back burner and instead focused her efforts on songwriting for mainstream pop acts. Needless to say, she’s been quite successful, collaborating with the likes of Beyoncé, Katy Perry, Celine Dion, Rihanna, and Christina Aguilera. Now, with increasing worldwide recognition, the Australian native is gearing up for a new solo LP, Chandeliers, due out June 1st via RCA Records.

The album is preceded by its title track, an impressive pop anthem built specifically for the radio, with dazzling vocal work and soaring synth. And before you go ahead and accuse of her ripping of RIhanna’s “Diamonds”, note that Sia wrote that song too.
