Arcade Fire brought the first weekend of Coachella to a close with a triumphant headlining performance on Sunday night. Win Butler and Co. powered through an 18-song set which saw them support the release of their new LP, Reflektor, with performances of the title track, “Flashbulb Eyes”, “Joan of Arc”, and “Afterlife”.

It wasn’t all new songs though: the band also dazzled with fan favorites like “Neighborhood #3 (Power Out)”, “Rebellion (Lies)”, “The Suburbs”, “No Cars Go”, and “Keep the Car Running”.

As far as surprises go, there were no ball drops, but Blondie’s Debbie Harry did join the band for a cover of “Heart of Glass” and also stuck around to sing on “Sprawl II”. Arcade Fire closed their set with the one-two-three punch of “Normal Person”, “Here Comes the Night Time”, and “Wake Up”, which saw them accompanied by the Preservation Hall Jazz Band. The band also walked through the crowed for an acoustic outro. Replay the full performance below.

During the performance, Win Butler also railed against the festival’s preferential treatment. “I just wanted to say there’s a lot of kind like fake VIP room bullshit happening at this festival, and I just wanted to say that sometimes people dream about getting into places like that, and it super sucks in there so don’t worry about it.” He also took a jab at the EDM artists with a shoutout to “to all the bands playing instruments this weekend.”
