Ex-Ween frontman Aaron Freeman shares new song “The English And Western Stallion”, announces tour dates

As previously reported, former Ween frontman Aaron Freeman has launched a new project called FREEMAN and will release its self-titled debut album on July 22nd via Partisan Records. Already we’ve heard the bluesy lead single “(For A While) I Couldn’t Play My Guitar Like A Man”; now, FREEMAN have debuted a second track, “The English and Western Stallion”.

Fans of Ween will no doubt find a connection to the feel-good, piano-heavy pop-rock anthem, which has a slightly psychedelic quality to it. Despite the artsy title and Freeman’s talk of “losing limbs”, the track actually has a decidedly upbeat message about positivity and the power of hard work. Go figure.
