Listen: Baked’s new song “Mick Jagger”

    Baked is a Brooklyn-based outfit specializing in charming, jangly indie-rock songs.
    After sharing their early releases through Bandcamp, they landed a deal with Exploding In Sound Records, which will release the band’s debut LP Debt on August 19th.

    The first single off the album is called “Mick Jagger — though, it hardly recalls The Rolling Stones’ frontman. Instead, it’s anchored by a propulsive percussion groove that wallops over the course of its six minute runtime. Throughout, guitars cascade and unravel for a mesmerizing whole. Judging from the sonic differences between this single and their previous demos, Baked seem to be finally coming into their own. Listen in below.

    Before Debt hits stores, Baked will hit the road. Dates include an opening stint for Titus Andronicus along with an appearance at Northside Festival. Check the full schedule below.
