Beverly, the new band led by Frankie Rose and Avan Lava’s Drew Citron, will release their debut album, Careers, on July 1st through Kanine Records. Already we’ve heard their first single “Honey Do”; now comes a similarly fuzzy, surfy rocker entitled “You Can’t Get It Right”. Taking a page from Rose’s past stints in group projects like Dum Dum Girls and Vivian Girls, it ain’t just the guitars that cut deep here — the collective harmonies are just as keen, if not totally hypnotizing.
