Next week, Robyn and Röyksopp will release their new collaborative album, Do It Again. Already we’ve heard two tracks from the effort: the sweat-soaked title track and the ethereal pop ballad “Monument”. Now, the Swedish pop queen and Norwegian production duo have unveiled “SayIt”.
The hard-hitting house track comes accompanied by an especially terrifying video. Directed by the Swedish design team of Sandberg & Timonen, the clip takes place in an abandoned industrial park and violently skips between scenes of the ominously-dressed musicians.
“We wanted it to look both unsettling and elegant”, explained Röyksopp’s Svein Berge. Robyn added, “Just the fact that I’m wearing a dress is quite scary. I usually don’t.”
Do It Again arrives May 26th via Dog Triumph/Wall of Sound/Cooking Vinyl. In support of the release, they’ll hit the road this summer for dates in both Europe and America. Click here to see the full docket.
