As drummer of one of rock and roll’s biggest bands, Taylor Hawkins is no stranger to TV land. Last night, however, the Foo Fighters’ drummer got a chance to let his new side-project, The Birds of Satan, fly through the airwaves for the first time. The band, which also comprises Wiley Hodgden and Mick Murphy, performed “Thanks for the Line” and “Pieces of the Puzzle”, two tracks from their self-titled debut album. Watch the replay below.

The Birds of Satan is out now on Shanabelle Records, and the band’s website promises tour dates coming soon. So while you stay tuned for those, see how many Birds/Hawkins puns you can come up with in 15 seconds. Ready, set, flock!
