In September, New York alt-rock outfit Blonde Redhead will return with their first new album in four years. Entitled Barragán, the follow-up to 2010’s Penny Sparkle spans 10 songs and was produced, engineered, and mixed by Drew Brown (Radiohead, Beck) at studios in Michigan and New York City. It will be released on September 9th via Kobalt Records.

As our first taste, the band’s unveiled “No More Honey”. It’s a sleek, minimalist rock ballad marked by crunchy bass chords, uneven percussion, and Kazu Makin’s slightly haggard croon.

    Barragán Tracklist:
    01. Barragán
    02. Lady M
    03. Dripping
    04. Cat on Tin Roof
    05. The One I Love
    06. No More Honey
    07. Mine to Be Had
    08. Defeatist Anthem (Harry and I)
    09. Penultimo
    10. Seven Two
