Los Angeles rapper Regan Farquhar, aka Busdriver, is releasing his next album, Perfect Hair, on September 9th via Big Dada. As a preview of the follow-up to 2012’s Beaus$Eros, he’s shared “Ego Death” a six-minute long track featuring Aesop Rock and Danny Brown
With a foreboding and booming beat courtesy of producer Jeremiah Jae, the song features some eccentric wordplay between the three rappers. There are some pretty varied pop culture references relating to Miley Cyrus, Mario pajama bottoms (?), math rock, and Marilyn Manson. Listen in below (via Pitchfork).
