#MakeRoarHappen and win a Katy Perry signed guitar

Remember that teacher you had in middle school or high school that got you interested in science with the crazy in-class project building a working model of the solar system? Well, what if they didn’t have all the components to make those models? Every year, teachers across the country spend over $400 of their own money to make sure their students have access to the materials they need to learn at the highest possible level. And still there are thousands of teens out there in schools lacking the resources that many folks take for granted.

That’s why Katy Perry is teaming up with Staples to present the #MakeRoarHappen campaign. Staples has already donated $1 million dollars to DonorsChoose.org, a nonprofit website where public school teachers can get donations for their classroom projects. To date, they’ve raised over $240 million dollars to help some 11.4 million students (largely from low-income or disaster-stricken areas) receive everything from art supplies to field trips. Now it’s your turn.

We want you to help spread the word about #MakeRoarHappen, and to make it worth your while, we’re giving you a chance to win an acoustic guitar signed by Katy Perry herself.
