This evening, Arcade Fire wrapped up their extensive Reflektor world tour at the place where it all began: their hometown of Montreal, Quebec. Appearing at the city’s Parc Jean-Drapeau, the band performed a 21-song setlist that epitomized the entire tour: in addition to greatest hits and tracks from Reflektor, Arcade Fire reworked material on the spot (a slowed down version of “Empty Room”), unveiled unique medleys (“My Body is a Cage” into “Keep the Car Running)”, and covered a song regional to the city (Wolf Parade’s “I’ll Believe in Anything”).
As a whole, the Reflektor tour featured 68 different songs over the course of its 74-date run. Among them:
— 10 tracks from Reflektor: the title track, “Here Comes the Nighttime”, and “Afterlife” were played at all 74 dates. “Supersymmetry “, meanwhile, was played just four time.
— Nine tracks from The Suburbs: “The Suburbs”, “The Suburbs Continued”, and “Ready to Start” were also played at all 74 dates. The least played album track was “Suburban War”, which made just four setlists.
— Seven tracks from Funeral: “Neighborhood #3 (Power Out) “, “Rebellion (Lies)”, and “Wake Up” were staples throughout the tour. “Neighborhood #2 (Laika)” and “Crown of Love” were each played seven times.
— Five tracks from Neon Bible: “No Cars Go” was played 64 different times, while songs such as “Intervention”, “My Body is a Cage”, and “Ocean of Noise” appeared on less than a quarter of the setlists.
— 35 different covers (!), including The Rolling Stones’ “The Last Time” with Mavis Staples; Prince’s “Controversy”; Blondie’s “Heart of Glass” with Debbie Harry at Coachella; two Ramones songs with Marky Ramone on drums; The Smiths’ “London”; Suicide’s “Dream Baby Dream” with David Byrne; R.E.M.’s “Radio Free Europe”; and Feist’s “I Feel It All”.
— A non-album track called “Get Right”.
— The Arcade Fire b-side “Headlights Look Like Diamonds”.

Now that the tour is over, Arcade Fire will likely take an extensive hiatus. Though, Win Butler already said he has ideas for the next album.
