Future Islands are set to kick off the second leg of their U.S. tour later this week in Brooklyn. In anticipation, the Maryland synth-rock outfit has unveiled a new remix of “Doves”, off their latest album Singles.
At the helms of this rework is none other than Erasure’s own Vince Clarke, who flips the original into a strutting and luminous dance number. Come for frontman Samuel T. Herring’s intoxicating “oooh oooh” crooning, definitely stay for Clarke’s body-moving arrangements. Something tells me David Letterman would love to see Herring bust a move to this tune.
