Foo Fighters premiere new song “The Feast and the Famine” — listen

    Foo Fighters will release their eighth studio album, Sonic Highways, on November 10th via Roswell Recordings. The band has already previewed the record by releasing “Something From Nothing” as the first single. Now, they’ve shared a second track in the form of “The Feast and the Famine”, which was recorded at Inner East Studio in Arlington, Virginia alongside DC punk legends Bad Brains. Listen below.

    The recording of “The Feast and the Famine” will be documented in the latest episode of the band’s HBO series, Sonic Highways, which airs tonight at 11 p.m. ET. The episode will also feature interview with Washington, DC music legends like Ian MacKaye, Bad Brains, and more.

    The band recorded the LP at various studio albums across the country (a process which is documented in the aforementioned HBO series). The album features a number of guest contributors, including Death Cab For Cutie’s Ben Gibbard, The Eagles’ Joe Walsh, Cheap Trick’s Rick Nielsen, and Preservation Hall Jazz Band. Pre-orders are ongoing.
