Save for a handful of September dates, Jeff Tweedy has spent most of the year with his son as Tweedy. But now that Wilco is in the midst of its 20th anniversary, he’s back with his mainstay outfit. Last night, Tweedy and co. brought the celebration to late night, performing a pair of rarities on Fallon. They first revisited “A Magazine Called Sunset” from their 2003 EP, More Like the Moon, and later, played their 2002 track “Cars Can’t Escape” as a web exclusive.

What’s more, Tweedy teamed with actor Ewan McGregor for a game of charades against Jimmy Fallon and NBA Hall of Famer Charles Barkley, because why not. Watch the replay below.

Wilco will continue their 20th anniversary tour tonight with the first of two nights at the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY, followed by a one-off in Milwaukee. Their current schedule caps off with a six-night residency they’ve dubbed the Wilco Winterlude at the Riviera Theatre in their hometown of Chicago. They also have a pair of archival box sets in the work: a greatest hits collection and a four-disc, 77-track collection of rarities and live tracks. All the deets and dates are here.
