In support of Sonic Highways, Foo Fighters have announced a string of UK stadium shows for next May and June. The docket includes a pair of dates at London’s Wembley Stadium. The band famously played Wembley in June 2008, during which they were joined by members of Led Zeppelin, and they later turned the shows into a concert film.

Perhaps the biggest takeaway, however, is the timing of the dates and their close proximity to UK’s Glastonbury Music Festival. Dave Grohl was recently asked if the band would be interested in playing the festival and he responded by saying, “They should give us a call.” It certainly seems as if Glastonbury organizers did just that, as the band’s tour runs right up to Glasto weekend.

See Foo Fighters’ upcoming tour schedule below, along with video from the last time they played Glastonbury back in 1998.
