On Tuesday night, Julian Casablancas and the Voidz were in New York City to play a show at the Hammerstein Ballroom. And what better way to celebrate Casablancas’ homecoming then by performing a song from his main gig. Luckily, they weren’t alone in their efforts, as the collective recruited opening act Dev Hynes (aka Blood Orange) to help perform The Strokes’ “You Only Live Once”. Watch fan shot footage below. During the same set, Casablancas and co. also brought out Shabazz Palaces to perform the Tyranny track “Father Electricity”.
