Indiana rockers Murder By Death will release their latest album, Big Dark Love, on February 3rd via Bloodshot Records. The band’s seventh album to date and follow-up to 2012’s Bitter Drink, Bitter Moon, the 10-track effort was recorded in Louisville, Kentucky alongside producer Kevin Ratterman (Andrew Bird) and mixer John Congleton (Angel Olsen, St. Vincent).

According to a press release, Big Dark Love sees the band round out their roots-rock sound by adding “touches of pop, synth-y electronics, and psych rock.”

As they did with Bitter Drink, the band is crowdfunding the album’s release via Kickstarter. Along with a pre-order of the album, supporters can receive a variety of goodies, including from a poster book, vinyl test pressings, T-shirts, and much more. Check out the campaign page here.
