Thick Red Wine Homesick EP

San Francisco folk-punk songwriter Mike Wojciechowski, aka Thick Red Wine, will release his Homesick EP on November 8th via Breakup Records. In anticipation, the record is streaming in full below.

The four-track EP serves as the follow-up to Wojciechowski’s 2013 debut, Never Wanted To Be Cool. Wojciechowski recorded in Philadelphia before permanently moving out to the West Coast. Despite being labeled as a solo work, Homesick features various contributions from guitarist Dan Warner, bassist Bob Burdalski, and drummer Nick Manta.

A press release describes the EP as drawing inspiration from “5th grade recess fights, middle school dance erections, college house party disasters, philosophers and boxed wine, among other things,” adding, “It’s a raw full-band indie rock record that extols the gritty survival instinct of a jaded but determined generation.”
