After a judge ordered prosecutors to disclose information about their case, new details have emerged regarding the charges against AC/DC drummer Phil Rudd. According to court documents, Rudd allegedly threatened over the phone to kill a man and his 10-year-old daughter (via Rolling Stone).

New Zealand’s Stuff reports the documents claim Rudd called the man, a contractor, on September 26th and made the threats. It’s also alleged that Rudd had “called a business associate earlier that day to discuss what he wanted done” to the victims, though charges of attempting to procure murder have already been dropped.

Tauranga police raided Rudd’s house on November 6th to make their arrest on the two murder-related charges. It was then that they discovered 0.71 grams of methamphetamine and 130 grams of marijuana. Rudd has admitted to the marijuana charges, but has pled not guilty to threatening to kill and possession of methamphetamine.

A day before the documents were unsealed, Rudd was taken into custody for violating his bail conditions after “a chance meeting” with a witness in the case that led to an altercation. Rudd’s bail was reinstated with the added condition that he refrain from using illegal drugs, as the prosecutor argued his behavior was erratic and sobriety “would help to manage his complacence with all the bail conditions.” The beleaguered Hall of Fame drummer is next due in court February 10th for a case review hearing.
