Following a relatively inactive 2014, Passion Pit are revving up for a busy new year, including the release of a brand new studio album.
In a Facebook photo posted on Christmas Eve, the band confirmed work on the follow-up to 2012’s Gossamer. The photo includes what appears to be a blacked-out tracklist: however, two possible song titles are left uncovered: “Intro” and “Five Foot Ten”. There are also spots for TBD covers and acoustic versions of the album tracks.
Additionally, frontman Michael Angelakos has shared a solo demo of Barry Manilow’s “Somewhere Down The Road”. It’s his second recording in as many months following his bedroom acoustic version of “Sleepyhead”. Listen in below.
