Ava Luna announce new album, Infinite House, share “Billz” — listen

New York art rockers Ava Luna approach their craft with an endless urge to experiment. Combining the pop, soul, and dance-minded inclinations of their personalities with a knotty indie rock and post-punk-inspired sentimentality, the quintet makes music that’s always weird, always interesting. On April 14th, they’ll release a new album, Infinite House, through Western Vinyl. The self-produced 11-track effort was mixed by Dave Fridmann (Tame Impala, Mercury Rev).

“Billz” is the first taste of the LP. Opening with a dissonant squall that seamlessly transforms into a smooth and sultry composition, the song rides its sugary momentum until its hair-raising chorus, which finds its vocalists really impressing with soulful fills and harmonies. With singles this good, Ava Luna’s “Billz” deserve to be paid. Listen in below.
