Bad News Boys (fka King Khan & BBQ Show) have unveiled another track from their self-titled fourth album, their first in nearly six years. Following the triumphant “We Are The Champion” and the exuberant “Alone Again”, “Illuminations” shines with a distinctly old-school garage punk sheen. Whether it’s the unwavering percussion, King Khan’s nasally vocals, or the jangly-yet-jagged guitar, this searing jam could have just as easily debuted in some abandoned NYC warehouse circa 1978.
