Dave Grohl will celebrate his 46th birthday a few days early with a “surprise” concert at the Forum in Los Angeles this coming Saturday, January 10th.
Press for the gig says the show will be an “in the round” style performance, which would see the band dead center completely encircled by the audience.
Tickets will cost $50, $10 of which will be spread amongst a trio of charities: Rock School Scholarship Fund, MusiCares, and Sweet Relief. GA floor passes will be limited to four per buyer, with reserved seating limited to eight. Tickets go on sale today at 7 p.m. local time (10 p.m. EST) via Ticketmaster.
