For the entirety of 2015, Swedish troubadour Jens Lekman has set out to perform the herculean task of writing, recording, and releasing a song every week. While it’s only been less than a month, the tracks, or “Postcards”, as he calls them, have so far been stellar. The latest two entries in the series are no different, each highlighting his earnest charm and precious sensibilities.
“Postcard #3” is a light and amiable acoustic number inspired by a recent wedding Lekman sang at, while “Postcard #4” is a piano ballad that boasts grand harmonies and horn arrangements. Listen to both below.
Meanwhile, Lekman is in the midst of sessions for his upcoming fourth studio album, the follow-up to I Know What Love Isn’t.
