Marvel releases new trailer for Avengers: Age of Ultron — watch

    There was no Hyrda leak this time: Marvel has revealed the second trailer for Avengers: Age of Ultron. The 90-second clip aired during tonight’s College Football Playoff National Championship game and is streaming below.

    Here’s the official synopsis for the film: “When Tony Stark tries to jumpstart a dormant peacekeeping program, things go awry and Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, The Incredible Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye, are put to the ultimate test as the fate of the planet hangs in the balance. As the villainous Ultron emerges, it is up to the Avengers to stop him from enacting his terrible plans, and soon uneasy alliances and unexpected action pave the way for an epic and unique global adventure.”

    Avengers: Age of Ultron hits US theaters on May 1st. Joss Whedon once again directs the all-star cast featuring Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), Chris Evans (Captain America), Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow), Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Mark Ruffalo (Hulk), Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye), Samuel L. Jackson (Nick Fury), Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Quicksilver), Elizabeth Olsen (Scarlet Witch), James Spader (Ultron), Cobie Smulders (Maria Hill), and Paul Bettany (The Vision/J.A.R.V.I.S.).
