Directed by Emily McDonald and Nev Brook of Hilow Films, the stunning visual follows a pair of friends preparing for a night out on the town. Building from that more generic plot, though, the clip tastefully and beautifully tackles themes like gender identity and societal expectations. In a statement, Shura explained that this was “the first treatment that really gently alluded to (the song’s themes) but was in and of itself a moving story about a journey and change.”

While there’s no official title or release date, Shura revealed that she is almost finished with her debut album and expects it to be out in August or September. However, the rising pop musician did temper expectations by saying, “If it needs to be a bit longer then so be it. I’m not going to try and get something out just to get a Mercury nomination.”
