Columbus, Ohio songwriter Maryn Jones has proven rather prolific since embark on her musicial career in 2007. Aside from solo material released under her own name, she is a crucial fixture in the pop punk outfit All Dogs and the folk rock collective Saintseneca. More recently, she’s added another project to her resume with Yowler, recording primarily in her bedroom in between her various other commitments. Yowler will see its official debut with the release of The Offer, due out March 10th via Double Double Whammy Records.

The album’s lead single, “7 Towers”, captures a much bleaker tone than Jones’s other projects. Over an ominous electric guitar, she croons profoundly haunting lines like, “Put the hurt on me, gave you everything.” Free of sonic clutter, the song feels especially hollow and foreboding, the perfect aesthetic to reflect Jones’ stirring vocal performance and ethereal songwriting chops.
