Time heals all wounds, and perhaps that’s no more evident than in the budding relationship between Kanye West and Taylor Swift. Six years after West infamously interrupted Swift on stage during the VMAs, the two were seen posing for pictures at the Grammys last weekend. Now, in a radio interview with Ryan Seacrest, West revealed that he and Swift plan to hit the studio together in the near future.
West also discussed the Grammys and his controversial stance that Beck should give his Album of the Year award to Beyoncé. “Beck is one of the nicest guys and one of the most respected musicians in the game,” West explained, but “the Grammys are artists’ Super Bowl, and somebody’s gotta be mad that Marshawn didn’t get the ball” (referencing the Seattle Seahawks’ decision to not give the football to their star running back Marshawn Lynch during the final play of the Super Bowl).
“When I said that thing about respecting artistry, I think it came off the wrong way and that was a mis-wording on my part,” he added.
