Hudson Mohawke is gearing up to release his new album, Lantern, on June 16th through Warp Records. The follow-up to last year’s Chimes EP features collaborations with Miguel, Antony, and Jhené Aiko, among others. Today, the TNGHT producer and Kanye West associate has given us our first preview of the LP with the aptly titled “Very First Breath”.
Equal parts lush and arena-ready, its likely one of HudMo’s most straightforward, pop-friendly cuts to date. Special guest French vocalist Irfane also provides airy, sun-kissed vocals, ensuring “Very First Breath” makes it onto a bunch of rooftop party playlists this summer. Listen in below.
