We’ve previously heard James Murphy remix David Bowie’s Love Is Lost”, and now the LCD Soundsystem frontman puts a spin on the Thin White Duke’s Station to Station single “Golden Years”.
Murphy’s ambient instrumental reworking appears on the soundtrack to Noah Baumbach’s upcoming film While We’re Young, which Murphy himself curated. Listen to a preview of the cover below (via The Dissolve), and also check out Murphy’s other, original contribution to the soundtrack, “We Used to Dance”.
The soundtrack officially hits shelves on March 24th via Milan Records. The film — which stars Ben Stiller, Naomi Watts, and Beastie Boys’ own Adam “Ad-Rock” Horowitz — opens in theaters on March 27th. Murphy and Baumbach previously teamed up on the 2010 movie Greenberg.
