The 2015 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony takes place April 18th in Cleveland, Ohio. This year’s class includes Lou Reed, Green Day, Ringo Starr, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and Bill Withers, among others. Now, the Rock Hall has confirmed some of the other music legends set to attend as performers or presenters.
Patti Smith will posthumously induct her life-long friend Reed, and Stevie Wonder will welcome Withers into the Rock Hall. Starr, who is set to receive the award for musical excellence, will be inducted by his former Beatles bandmate Paul McCartney.
Beck will perform in tribute to Reed, and Wonder will team up with John Legend to celebrate the music of Withers. Jimmie Vaughn will appear in lieu of his brother, who passed away in 1990. Dave Grohl, who was enshrined last year as a member of Nirvana, will also perform during the ceremony.
Starr will lead a jam session featuring The Eagles’ Joe Walsh and presumably McCartney, as well.
HBO will premiere a broadcast of the ceremony on May 30th.
