This year, Tame Impala is expected to return with a new album, the highly-anticipated follow-up to 2012’s Lonerism. Though the Aussie indie rockers have yet to announce an official release date, today they’ve offered up a massive new single called “Let It Happen”. Listen below.

Clocking in at nearly eight minutes, it’s a sprawling beast of a track outfitted with the band’s signature psychedelic and propulsive grooves. The song’s second half proves especially inspiring, as it features a full-on wicked, synth-y jam session and magical vocoder harmonies. “Let It Happen” serves as Tame Impala’s first piece of new material in three years, and it’s safe to say it was worth the wait.

Tame Impala has also announced a massive North American tour, including a slew of festival appearances at CoachellaSasquatch!Governors Ball, and Boston Calling. Consult the full itinerary.
