The National returned to the stage on Friday night for the first time in 2015. Taking place at the MusicNOW Festival in Cincinnati, Ohio, the unique performance saw the band teaming with the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra for the first time.

The nine-song setlist included fan favorites like “Runaway”, “England”, “Vanderlyle Crybaby Geeks”, and “Fake Empire”. Below, watch fan-shot footage of “Runaway” and “England”.

Aaron Dessner was forced to miss the performance due to the impending birth of his child. Arcade Fire’s Richard Reed Parry filled in as his replacement.
