Virginia dream pop outfit Eternal Summers are set to release their new album, Gold and Stone, on June 2nd through Kanine Records. The 10-track effort serves as the band’s fourth to date following last year’s Doug Gillard-produced The Drop Beneath. Last month we heard the excellent lead single “Together Or Alone”. Today, Eternal Summers have offered up another preview in the title track.

Here, frontwoman Nicole Yun coos over a gorgeous cascade of glassy guitars. Whereas “Together Or Alone” represented one of the group’s fiercest cuts to date, “Gold and Stone” might just be one of their most endearing. Listen in below.

According to Yun, the track was originally an outtake from their 2012 LP, Correct Behavior, but was revived seemingly out of the blue. “In a soul-searching moment while writing for the new album, our drummer Daniel really prodded the band to revamp the song and try it again,” she explained. “This album hints at a lot of the early influences of the band, so bringing this older song back to life was fitting.”
