On June 2nd, Florence and the Machine will return with their highly-anticipated new album, How Big How Blue How Beautiful. Due out through Republic Records, the 11-track effort was written in London and Los Angeles and recorded with producer Markus Dravs (Björk, Arcade Fire, Coldplay). Following previous cuts “What Kind of Man”“St. Jude”, and the title track, the UK outfit has revealed “Ship to Wreck”.

Highlighted by Florence Welch’s powerhouse vocals, the guitar-led number deals with personal breakdowns and inner turmoil. “I was thinking about my own self destructive side, and how you can make something only to tear it down, enjoy/destroy, create/devastate etc.,” Welch explained in a press statement. “When you’re in that whirlwind, you often end up breaking the thing you love the most.”
